Pick Rules

How to break ties when two players have the same number of correct picks. Tiebreaker game is always the last matchup and marked clearly when making picks.
  • Total Points: Members predict how many points will be scored between both teams combined. Simple but not very skillfull.
  • Predict Actual Score: Members predict actual home team score and away team score. Whoever gets the closest to the actual score breaks the tie.
    Formula: (actual_home_score - predicted_home_score) + (actual_away_score - predicted_away_score)
Members can change their picks up until the game 1 kickoff. This allows members to look at other players picks and change their mind if they choose to.
Other members cannot see each other's picks until the first game kicks off. This prevents members picking based off league trends.
Members can still submit picks if they missed the Thur Night Game (Matchup 1). They will take a loss for Matchup 1, but can still pick until Game 2 starts
If "allow late picks" is turned on, late players will not be able to see other players picks until they make their late picks or until Game 2 deadline passes.

Automation

Automatically fill in picks for members who haven't submitted by the deadline. This helps not ruin their yearly record and still be in the game.
Determines how picks are generated for players that missed the deadlines.
Members who missed weeks still get charged the weekly dues. This helps force members to keep playing, and helps with a yearly best record pot
